1973
The story of SOMEVA goes back to 1973 when founders
Mr Demangeau and P. Brangeon created the SNC DEMANGEAU;
specialized in joinery, carpentry and fitted kitchens.
1984
The company changes its name and becomes SOMEVA.
Paul and Marie-Jeanne BRANGEON become the main
shareholders. At this stage the company employs
4 people.
1987
The company diversifies its production, pioneering
the manufacture of its first wooden display units
for supermarkets: fruit and vegetables, bakery, flowers
and plants.
1994 Fabrice BRANGEON, Paul’s son, joins the company.
The production of supermarket shelving now represents
90% of the company’s turnover. It employs 10
people.
2002 To support the company’s growth and enhance
the capacity of the production line, SOMEVA extends
its facilities with the addition of a 3000m² building.
2003
SARL SOMEVA becomes a SAS. Paul BRANGEON
retires and his son Fabrice becomes President
of the company.
2005
With a new 4000m² production area and a total
of 45 employees, SOMEVA has become an essential partner
within supermarkets organization.
